# Learner Profiles

## 📌 Overview

A learner's profile gives you a complete picture of one member in a single place — their assigned courses and programs, completion status, and scores — and lets you edit the member or assign new training without leaving the page.

### Step 1: Open a Learner Profile

There are two ways to open a learner's profile:

- Go to the **Settings** page, open the **Members** tab (`/settings/members`), and click a member.
- Or go to the **Analytics** page, open the **Learners** tab, and click a learner.

At the top of the profile you'll see the member's details along with summary stats: **Courses Assigned**, **Completed**, and **Avg Score**.

### Step 2: Review Programs and Courses

The **Programs** section lists each assigned program with its progress, average score, and status — expand a row to see the per-course breakdown. Below it, the **Courses** section lists individual courses with completion and score. Use the **Include courses in program** toggle to switch between direct enrollments only and direct plus program courses.

### Step 3: Edit or Assign from the Profile

Click **Edit** to update the member's details, or click **Assign** to add training. In the assign dialog, switch between **Courses**, **Programs**, and **Groups**, choose what to assign, and confirm.

💡 Tip: What you can see is scoped to your role — owners and organization admins see full data, while group admins see only the learners and assignments within groups they manage.

## 💡 Tips

- Use a learner profile before a one-on-one to quickly see where someone stands across all their training.

- To review performance across your whole organization instead of one person, use the [Analytics](/help/analytics) page.

- Learn more about assigning training in [Assign a Course](/help/assign-a-course) and [Create and Assign Programs](/help/create-and-assign-programs).
