Revision History

📌 Overview

Quinn automatically saves your course edits as you work. Every change — slide edits, block rearrangements, voiceover updates — is captured as a version snapshot with a 10-second debounce, so you never lose progress. You can browse previous versions, preview what changed, and restore any earlier version at any time.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Course Editor

Navigate to Courses, select the course you want to review, and click Edit Course to open it in the editor.

Step 2: Open Version History

Click the ⋯ (more options) menu in the top-right corner of the editor toolbar. Select Revision History from the dropdown menu. A full-screen panel will open.

Step 3: Browse Versions

The right sidebar shows a chronological list of all saved versions, grouped by date. Each entry displays:

Step 4: Preview a Version

Click on any version in the list to preview it in the main content area. The preview shows the full course content as it existed at that point in time.

Step 5: Compare Changes

When viewing a version, you can see a diff of what changed between that version and the current live version. Added, removed, and modified blocks are highlighted so you can quickly understand what was different.

Step 6: Restore a Version

If you want to go back to a previous version, click the Restore this version button at the top of the preview. The course will immediately revert to that version's content. The restored version becomes the new current version and a new entry is added to the history.

💡 Tip: Restoring a version doesn't delete any history — you can always restore back to any version, including the one you had before restoring.
